Our Services

Contact Lens Exams

A precise contact lens fitting is more than matching your glasses prescription — we evaluate your corneal shape, tear film, and lifestyle to find the lens that performs best for your eyes.

Fit For Your Eyes Only

Not all contact lenses are created equal — and not all eyes respond the same way to lenses. A contact lens exam is a dedicated evaluation separate from your standard eye exam.

We measure your corneal curvature, assess your tear film health, evaluate your pupil size and iris diameter, and discuss your vision needs and lifestyle before selecting a lens design. The result is a lens that fits precisely, stays comfortable all day, and corrects your vision accurately.

Product availability and specialty ordering vary by office. Your eye doctor will confirm which lens designs are appropriate for your prescription, eye health, and lifestyle.

Soft Daily & Monthly Lenses

Ideal for most patients. We fit daily disposables — the healthiest option, a fresh lens every day — and monthly modalities from leading brands.

Multifocal Lenses

For patients over 40 dealing with presbyopia, multifocal contacts provide clear vision at all distances without reading glasses.

Toric Lenses for Astigmatism

Toric lenses are engineered to resist rotation. We use in-office lens trials to ensure your lens stabilizes correctly before you leave.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a contact lens exam separate from a regular exam?

Contacts rest directly on your eye, so they require additional measurements and health checks that a glasses exam doesn't include — ensuring safety and comfort.

Can I sleep in my contacts?

Unless your doctor specifically prescribes an extended-wear lens, no — sleeping in lenses greatly increases the risk of infection.

I've been told I can't wear contacts. Is that final?

Often not. Advances in specialty lens designs mean many previously 'hard-to-fit' patients can now wear lenses comfortably — ask us about specialty options.

Should I wear my current contacts to the fitting?

Ask the office when scheduling, because instructions can vary by lens type and the measurements planned. Bring your current lenses, packaging or prescription, glasses, and any solutions you use.

What if my trial lenses feel uncomfortable?

Remove the lenses if instructed and contact the office, especially for pain, marked redness, discharge, light sensitivity, or vision changes. A follow-up can check your eye health and determine whether the fit, material, or care routine should be adjusted.
